1

Concept & narrative strategy

We read the text or shape the idea together, agree on format, audience and schedule, and find the emotional core the images will carry.

2

Characters & visual world

Character studies, palette and a page-by-page storyboard or dummy, reviewed with you before any final art begins.

3

Final artwork & delivery

Finished artwork, scanned at high resolution and prepared to your printer’s specifications. Originals are kept or sold by agreement.

Questions

Before we begin

Answers are drafts for Ravid to confirm.

Rights are agreed per project. Ravid usually licenses publication rights for a defined territory, language and term. Copyright and the originals stay with her unless agreed otherwise.

Yes. Ravid works in English and Hebrew with publishers and agents in Europe and the USA. Reviews happen over video calls and shared files, and final artwork is delivered digitally.

A 32-page picture book typically takes four to eight months from concept to final art, depending on the number of spreads and review rounds. A cover usually takes three to six weeks.

High-resolution scans (usually 600 dpi) in the colour profile your printer asks for, with bleed and trim as specified. Layered files are available when the artwork is digital.

Yes. Alongside her own books, Ravid illustrates texts by other authors when the story leaves room for the images to add their own layer.

Selected originals and prints are available on request. Write with the work you are interested in and Ravid will reply with availability, size and price.
