Ravid watches people, the relationships between characters and their inner worlds: small and large moments that become stories in a rich visual language, full of humour and imagination.
Art psychotherapy
Ravid has a professional background in art psychotherapy. It accompanies her work and the sensitive way she looks at the life around her, and it lets her explore how children and adults process experience through images.
Writing & illustrating
As an author-illustrator with a classical art training, Ravid writes her own children’s books and illustrates them as a whole: text, image and rhythm are planned together. Alongside her books she illustrates for a range of projects, creates covers and makes personal artwork.
